My name is Melissa Perry and I am the luckiest wife to my incredible husband and mother of three amazing children. I have been surrounded with children all my life. I began my career as a babysitter at the tender age of ten helping my father care for my three little sisters. During college, I was a full time nanny and gained experience in all ages from infants to pre-teens.
The fifteen years of training I had with children definitely helped as I had my own. But even after all those years of experience, nothing came close to prepare me for the birth of my first child. By far the hardest challenge I had faced thus far in my life. I was exhausted mainly due to the lack of sleep and that’s putting it lightly. The string of sleepless nights and exhausting days left me feeling anxious, irritable, and unsure about my ability of being a good mother.
And while there was support for other maternal challenges, birth coaches and lactation consultants, there was no one I could talk to about my daughter’s ongoing sleep issues. While the sleep books offered advice, they didn’t offer support, encouragement or the invaluable feeling of connection with a person who can help and truly understand. Thank goodness I have a husband who helped as much as he could, but it was really up to me to figure a solution to the madness. We eventually did get our daughter to sleep through the night, but the process was grueling. I thought, “There has to be an easier way.”
I spent weeks devouring every book and website that had ever been written on babies sleep. The more I learned, the more I wanted to share this information with other parents. That’s when I founded The Cradle Coach. Sleep is so important for your baby’s health and your mental well-being, yet no one teaches you about it. We felt there needed to be a go-to place for sleep support. Since then, I have received my certification as a Happiest Baby on the Block educator and a maternity and baby certified sleep consultant from the International Maternity and Parenting Institute. Thankfully there is hope! We can help you and your child get the sleep you need, giving you the support you need during this difficult time.
My name is Rachel Fiorello and I am the luckiest girl in the world to be the wife of my amazing husband and the mother of my two perfectly precious girls. I have loved children for as long as I can remember. From babysitting throughout my younger years to being a nanny in college, I have always found myself drawn to little ones. In fact, my first job out of college was working for a children’s television network! I always looked forward to the day that I would become a mother.
I love my sleep and throughout both of my pregnancies, I was constantly told to enjoy it while I could. During my first pregnancy, a stranger even told me to remember the name, The Cradle Coach. I stored that into my memory – thank goodness!
My older daughter had been a great sleeper since she was born but my husband and I really didn’t know where to start to get her onto a set routine or to get her to sleep through the night. I recalled my conversation with that lovely stranger I met months before and gave The Cradle Coach a call. The next night, at 3.5 months, my daughter was sleeping for 12 hours straight and napping like a champion during the day! Two and a half years later, we did the same thing for our younger daughter and she, too, has become an incredible sleeper (she definitely didn’t start out that way like her sister did)!
I am honored to help other parents get the sleep both they and their little ones need. It can be hard to take that first step and I love being with them every step of the way.
My name is Janelle Aubert and I’m forever grateful to be married to my best friend and favorite person in the world. Together we have two beautiful little girls who we are head over heals in love with.
I have 3.5 years of experience in customer services, 10 years of experience in working with children which includes teaching Preschool for 2 years, and nannying since I was just 13. I am one of six children in my family, so I have always been drawn to little ones and found so much joy in being around and loving on them. I believe children are truly a gift!
During the first few months with our first daughter, I found myself utterly exhausted. She was such a joy, but we created many habits that were taking a big toll on me mentally, emotionally, and physically. After a few meltdowns, I reached out to my dear friend Melissa and I am forever thankful that I did! Ever since we put into practice these amazing techniques and received the support we needed, our lives went from barely getting by to thriving. I never knew how much better it would be when all of us were getting the sleep we needed, especially our little one. When Melissa approached me about joining the team, I immediately accepted with gratefulness that I would be able to help others in the same way!
I am passionate about helping other parents experience what we have, and for little ones to get the rest their little bodies need. There is no greater reward than hearing how families have been impacted through The Cradle Coach.
I am Katelyn McNellis and I am one blessed Momma!I am married to my best friend and together we have our son Declan, and two fur babies Murphy and Stella.

After having a very difficult pregnancy and unexpected early delivery with my son, I learned very quickly that being a mother is not easy.My son was born 6 weeks early and spent 12 days in the NICU before we could bring him home.My son suffered from reflux, colic, and was a terrible sleeper. When he turned 6 months old I had reached my breaking point.I NEEDED sleep! He needed sleep!I was so exhausted! I didn’t feel I was being the best mother I could be for my son.I reached out to The Cradle Coach and it changed my life.As a family, we were all finally getting the sleep we needed, my husband and I were able to plan our days because he was finally napping, and my son was a whole new baby.
The counselor in me loved the idea of being a support system for other parents like me that were struggling, so joining The Cradle Coach team seemed like the perfect fit.I truly believe that getting the proper sleep is crucial in proper child development, and the well being of the entire household. Our little ones thrive on schedule and predictability giving them the foundation they need to grow into happy healthy children.
My name is Anna Linster, and I am so thankful to be married to my college sweetheart and the most amazing husband and dad! We have two of the sweetest, full of energy little boys!
I am one of six kids and have always been around kids and big families. My love and passion for children is one of the reasons I became a Pediatric Registered Nurse. I loved being able to walk alongside a mom or dad during the hardest of days, be their advocate, cheer them on, and stand beside them through the ups and downs.
I spent months and months preparing for birth with my first child. I figured I would worry about sleeping once he came. I remember sitting in the hospital with my baby in my arms terrified because I felt so clueless! I had worked in the ICU with kids, yet had no idea where to start and how to help him sleep. My pregnancy with him was extremely difficult, and I was a typical scared first-time mom.
I reached out to my sister-in-law who had used The Cradle Coach and said, “Teach me everything you know!” That’s when my life forever changed. I needed a schedule, I needed someone to tell me what to do and that what I was doing was the right thing. My 3 month old soon slept through the night and was taking consistent naps at the same time everyday! When my second came along, we implemented healthy sleep habits from the beginning and he has been a dream sleeper.
I know what it’s like to be a tired mom who is guessing at everything and be afraid of doing it wrong. By having both boys on a sleep schedule, I have eliminated the guessing when it comes to my kids’ sleep.
I am honored, thankful and blessed to now be apart of the amazing Cradle Coach team. I am passionate about helping families get the sleep they need and helping the entire family experience the freedom, joy and peace that comes when the entire family is rested and at their best!
Hi! I’m blessed in all the ways – husband that makes me laugh every day, stepchildren that allow me to love them as my own, and a sweet baby girl who lights up my whole world. I started babysitting for my neighbors when I was 12 and have been drawn to babies and toddlers ever since!
I was a full time nanny in college and for years beyond. I worked in Pediatric Oncology at Dell Children’s Hospital in Austin and I have a degree from the University of Texas in Human Development with a focus on Early Childhood.
Becoming a mother has been the biggest joy of my life! I have always believed in schedules and routines for kiddos and that sleeping is a must! I feel that sleeping can affect so many areas of life and if we can get that part right, a lot of the other things fall into place!
It is true what they say, you never know until you have been there! I helped a lot of friends get their children on a sleep schedule when I was single, but until my daughter went through the regression at 4.5 months old, I did not know the challenge of holding back to let your own baby learn to sleep on their own. I’m SO glad I gave her that gift and have been enjoying 12 hour nights of sleep and amazing naps ever since! It gives my husband and I a chance to connect in the evenings and have a very well rested, happy and growing baby during the day!
I am thrilled to be a part of The Cradle Coach team and to have the opportunity to give the gift of sleep to so many families! This is my passion and I am very lucky to be able to share it and experience it with others!
My name is Mary Grace Pinkard, and with one glance at my Instagram profile, you’ll quickly learn I’m madly in love with my baby girl Harvey. I feel the same way about my husband — he’s just usually hanging out with me behind the camera!
I graduated from the University of Georgia in 2013 and worked in both public relations and advertising from Atlanta all the way back to my hometown in Mississippi until Harvey was born in 2017. It was important to me to find a way to stay home with her, but with a husband in medical school, I knew I’d have to continue contributing financially. I buckled down and made my “side gig” in network marketing my temporary solution and managed to pay our mortgage each month with my paycheck. Still, I prayed for an opportunity that would allow me to stay home and use my degree at the same time. I just assumed it was too good to be true.
Becoming a mom changed my life in many ways, and while it’s the most beautiful thing in the world, it still comes with its share of loneliness — especially during those newborn days. Pregnancy and the early stages of motherhood opened my eyes to the GOOD that social media can do. It has its faults, of course, but social media reunited me with old friends who were experiencing the same things I was. It gave me an outlet to share the humor of my zombie-like appearance and sore nipples. It allowed me to bond with strangers from across the country in “mom groups” on Facebook. It introduced me to The Cradle Coach and eventually led me to the dream job I began to believe didn’t exist.
The Cradle Coach ignited a very unexpected passion in me. Once Harvey was sleeping on a schedule and sleeping miraculously well, I realized how transformative the entire experience was. We were all happier, and I wanted to shout it from the rooftops. I shared The Cradle Coach with friends and almost fell out of my chair when I saw they were hiring…and the job description was basically my personal and professional bio, combined. I applied right away and called my husband (in tears) because I felt like I had just won the work-from-home lottery.
I experienced a miscarriage at the end of last year. Sharing my grief and empathizing with others who have gone through the same pain was extremely helpful during the days that followed, and that all happened on social media. I’m a strong believer in using such a powerful tool for good, and that’s what we do at The Cradle Coach. Exhausted parents come to us during some of the most vulnerable days of their lives, and we have a team of amazing women here waiting with open arms to comfort, educate and encourage. I’m honored to witness those moments and even more grateful to share them.
