If you are like me, you want the absolute healthiest food for your family. Genevieve has created one of the most informative natural food websites there is. You can find amazing advice, recipes, and creative ideas in making your family live a healthier life. This incredible mommy battled weight, digestive and immune system issues for many years. A sugar addict from the age of two, she knew firsthand the harmful affects of eating processed foods. Once she started to make changes in her diet, she learned the healing power of real food. You and your family won’t ever be disappointed in her recipes. They are absolutely delicious!!! Thank you Genevieve for sharing the lessons you have learned as a mother.

What are your favorite baby products?
Oh dear, this is too broad of a question! LOL! I have favorites in ALL categories… food, beauty, supplements, baby gear, etc. You can check out my site for more specifics ?.

Two things you learned that no one could have prepared you for:
That parenting is an all-consuming experience and takes a lot of hard work BUT it gets easier each and every day as your child and you continue to grow up ?

Stop trying to “get on top of it all.” You won’t be able to do it. Learn to manage what you can at any given moment and let go of the rest.

Best advice you received:
Stop trying to “get on top of it all.” You won’t be able to do it. Learn to manage what you can at any given moment and let go of the rest.

Something you struggle with as a mom:
Lack of sleep! Despite years of effort and technique, my child isn’t the best sleeper.

How do you balance the demands of your career, family, life, etc.?
I get help!

I am blessed that I don’t “have” to work but that doesn’t mean that I don’t have a part of myself that needs to give back outside of my family sphere.
So, I first determined what I needed in terms of life/work balance. How many days a week were adequate? What schedule kept me close to family but also engaged in the outside working world?

Once I figured this out, I put the resources in place to help me accomplish my goals. It’s not easy and I need to constantly hold myself accountable for getting the help I need. It’s really easy as a mom to put your needs last and let your desires slip away. But, I find when I do this, I end up unhappy and resentful. By getting my little breaks in throughout the week, we have a happier, healthier home life.
